Due to the low number of entries received and feedback from several schools, ALL County Championships have been postponed.

The Under 14, 15 and 16’s will now compete on Saturday 24 April 2010. The entry fee of £25 will cover the cost of neutral umpires, as this has also been requested by numerous schools. The Under 19 Tournament will take place on Wednesday 21 April 2010, however, teams will have to arrange their own umpires for this – entry fee £10 The Under 12 and 13 Tournaments will be advised shortly. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Please note, there is a meeting this Friday 26 February to discuss the future format of the Schools County Championships and if you have any comments or suggestions then please forward these to Gill Walker at natasha52@hotmail.co.uk or text/ring 07966 459452.”

I would like to say a personal BIG thank you to all those players who turned up on Saturday 27th February for the B course that was held by Lancashire Netball at Blackpool Sixth Form College. We had enough players to make up 4 teams.

I was thrilled and overwhelmed by the help and support Fylde Netball League players gave in helping to improve the umpiring not only whithin our own league but that of the whole region. We couldn't do it without your help. AGAIN A BIG THANK YOU.
