What is the Lancashire Junior Regional Qualifying Tournament?
This is a tournament that will be played for all U14 & U16 Lancashire teams who wish to have the opportunity to qualify to represent the NW in the National Club Finals. All 5 Counties, run their own qualifying league/tournament and teams from each age group (see table below) will qualify for a place in the NW Regional tournament to compete against the best teams in the NW. The 4 Lancashire qualifying teams from each age group must be available and want to be in a position to progress to the NW Regional Tournament, league and attend the finals if successful. Only enter this tournament if you genuinely wish to qualify. This is not a tournament for match experience!

Umpires will be provided on the day however you must provide a competent scorer. There is an £80 registration/umpire fee to be paid via Bacs to Lancashire County Netball Association (LCNA). Please complete the online form via the link. The closing date for entries is 17th October.
Match duration:- 7 minutes each way, 1 minute at half time and 2 minutes in between matches over 3 courts. The player registration form needs submitting by 31st October 2025. Any amendments due to injury need to be made 48 hours prior to the tournament.
The NW Regional Junior League will commence with a qualifier tournament on the 11th January 2026 at Wright Robinson. The NW Finals tournament will be held on the 29th March 2026.
The regional qualifying tournament will provide a competition for nominated clubs from the 5 counties of the NW to decide the top 8 teams within the region at U14 and U16 whom will then play in a league and finals tournament to decide the top 2 clubs to represent the region at the England Netball National Junior Clubs 2025.
Each club must have a current membership with England Netball, within the NW region and their county. Each player, coach, volunteer and supporter must sign an EN code of conduct prior to taking part in the regional event commencing in January 2026. There will be additional costs for each qualifying round.

National Club Finals
The U14 & U16 National Club Finals, brings together the top 18 teams from each age category from across the country. The 18 teams from each age group consist of the winners and runners-up from the nine regional competitions that take place throughout the season. This competition offers young netballers from all corners of the United Kingdom the opportunity to test themselves against the best of their age group.
